The LTC Provider’s Playbook: Q3 2024 Edition

A Message From Our Leader, Mark Josefovic

At LTC Ally, continuous learning is more than just an initiative – it’s embedded in our culture.

We believe that fostering an environment of education not only empowers our employees but also keeps us at the forefront of the healthcare industry. Whether through structured programs within our departments or the invaluable guidance from knowledgeable leaders, learning is woven into the fabric of our daily work. This commitment to education is what drives our innovation, elevates our client service, and positions us as leaders in long-term care.

We take pride in creating opportunities for our team members to grow their skills and stay current with industry developments, ensuring we deliver the highest quality service to the facilities and clients we support.

Finance Department: Summer of Learning

This summer, the Finance Department embraced the spirit of education by diving deep into topics critical to day-to-day operations. Through a series of focused workshops, employees gained a clearer understanding of the “why” behind their tasks, turning routine work into opportunities for professional growth.

The collaborative sessions provided not just technical knowledge but a more profound sense of purpose, emphasizing the impact each task has on our clients’ operations. It was a summer filled with learning, teamwork, and a renewed passion for excellence.

Contracting Department: Back to Basics Friday

Learning is an ongoing journey in the Contracting Department, and “Back to Basics Fridays” are a perfect example of this commitment. Each Friday, under the leadership of Rivki Kass, team members come together to explore a variety of crucial topics. From honing negotiation techniques to understanding new reimbursement models with state-specific updates, these sessions keep our team sharp and informed.

These collaborative and hands-on learning sessions provide our team with fresh insights into the complexities of the contracting world, fostering an atmosphere where every member contributes to strengthening the department and aligning with our company-wide commitment to excellence.

AR Department: Summer Workshop Remix

This summer, the AR Department took learning to a new level with our “Summer Workshop Remix: Refresh Your Skills” session, designed specifically for managers and supervisors. The workshop served as an opportunity to review the fundamentals of AR while layering in advanced concepts to ensure our leaders are fully up to speed and ready to tackle the evolving challenges of the department.

The goal was to equip our supervisors with refreshed insights and updated strategies, reinforcing their expertise and keeping them at the top of their game. The interactive format encouraged open discussion and practical learning, allowing managers to share their experiences and deepen their knowledge together.

Looking Ahead: A Culture of Lifelong Learning

As we continue to prioritize education across all departments, we remain committed to building a culture of growth. From technical skills to leadership development, LTC Ally strives to provide all employees with the tools they need to succeed. Our learning initiatives will continue to expand as we find new ways to enhance both individual and collective knowledge.
